Users of WhatsApp can now directly post status updates on Facebook. A guide to doing it is here.
**************************
Users may now share their status updates directly to Facebook using the Meta-owned WhatsApp app.
Users of WhatsApp can communicate text, images, and videos with their contacts using the status feature. The status fades automatically after 24 hours and is similar to the Stories feature found on other social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat.
In its most recent update, WhatsApp has added a brand-new Status Ring function to its platform. A little circle that reads "Status Updated" appears next to the user's profile photo in the app as a reminder to other users to click on it to view the new status. The state can also be examined by going to the app's status tab. Users can also privately respond to a status or share it with their own connections.
Since Facebook and Instagram also include a status function, users can publish their WhatsApp statuses on those two networks as well. However, for some months this feature was not available on WhatsApp. Fortunately, WhatsApp just published an update that lets users broadcast their status on Facebook directly from the app.
Follow these easy instructions to post your WhatsApp status on Facebook. The first step is to launch WhatsApp on your phone and press or slide left on the Status tab at the bottom of the screen. The status that you want to share on Facebook can be chosen by tapping the camera icon. tap on the three dots that are situated in the top right corner of the screen. After the status has been submitted, tap the three horizontal dots directly next to the status and choose "Share to Facebook" from the menu that appears.
It is interesting that this functionality is restricted to the WhatsApp mobile app and is inoperable on the WhatsApp website.
